Here at Nadomi Medspa, we’re always searching for the best new services to provide our clients with the most advanced procedures and technology. You’ve heard of microneedling but our latest addition, the Opus Plasma, uses fractional plasma to take your skin rejuvenating results to the next level.

RF microneedling, or radiofrequency microneedling, is a one-of-a-kind skin renewal treatment that creates a pattern of microscopic mechanical and thermal  injuries to a fraction of the skin. These micro-abrasions stimulate a natural healing response, leading the skin to repair itself, resulting in huge improvements in texture, tone, and pigmentation.

WHY OPUS PLASMA?

Opus Plasma is built upon the popular and widely accepted science of fractional skin resurfacing. With the Opus Plasma, you can enjoy fractional skin resurfacing results with a fraction of the downtime from traditional microneedling. This procedure is safe for all skin types.

EXPECTATIONS DURING AND AFTER PROCEDURE:

RF microneedling is a 15 minute outpatient treatment following skin cleansing and applying a topical anesthetic.  Depending on the type and skin condition, degree of discomfort may vary. Settings can be adjusted to minimize discomfort so that you can have the best experience.

Treatment is administered via a hand piece for areas like face, neck, belly, flanks or other areas of concern. A smaller stamper can be used around sensitive areas such as crows feet, lip lines, and other more pronounced wrinkles.

You may begin to notice improvements following the initial procedure but 2-3 treatments are recommended for optimal results.

RECOVERY:

A clinical study has shown that Opus Plasma requires 50 percent less downtime as compared with traditional skin resurfacing laser treatments. Gone are the days of taking off of work and holing up at home while you recover.

Redness, flaking, and dry skin can be expected but last only 24-48 hours. Applying a heavy-duty moisturizer like Aquafor on all treated areas is recommended for 24 hours post procedure.

Hopefully this information will help you make an educated decision on your choice of skin resurfacing treatment.
