With BOTOX / Jeuveau you can expect:

• Short appointment sessions – These treatments typically take 10-15 minutes.
• No downtime – BOTOX / Jeuveau is minimally invasive and our clients typically resume their normal activities and schedule right after treatments.
• Very minimal pain, typically similar to a small pinch of the skin.  These injections are very targeted and utilize a very fine needle, resulting in very little, if any, discomfort.
• Easy to maintain.  BOTOX / Jeuveau treatments can last up to 4 months with as-needed follow-up sessions that are quick and work well for the demands of a busy day-to-day life.

Dr. Zaknoun has extensive training to optimize aesthetic results while ensuring that all safety protocols are being followed.  Dr. Zaknoun years of experience with BOTOX / Jeuveau and dermal fillers; and her patients enjoy beautiful results.

BOTOX / Jeuveau can start to show results in 1-4 days, but it starts working immediately.  Full results can be seen 1-2 weeks post-treatment.

Results from BOTOX / Jeuveau treatments can last up to four months.  As-needed or desired follow-up sessions are quick and work well for the demands of a busy day-to-day life.

The injector is just as important as the product!  When used correctly and as the manufacturer intended, these products should not cause serious complications.  Please note, the outcome relies heavily on the injector. Therefore, choosing someone with specific BOTOX / Jeuveau experience and training, like Dr. Zaknoun, is key to getting great results.  One of today’s most popular treatments, BOTOX / Jeuveau are considered safe and are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

We’ve all seen what can happen when someone has had too many Botox injections or BOTOX / Jeuveau injections in the wrong muscles and areas of the face.  They look unnatural, unpleasant and unhappy.  Dr. Zaknoun knows how to use the correct dose and placement of BOTOX / Jeuveau to safely relax the correct muscles, allowing unwanted wrinkles to soften or be completely eliminated, without affecting the surrounding muscles.

With Juvéderm you can expect:

• No downtime – Patients typically resume their normal activities and schedule right after treatments. Although, it is recommended to avoid strenuous activity and overexposure to the sun for 24-48 hours.

Juvederm is an amazing dermal filler that starts to work immediately. You can expect to see results in 1-3 days they continue to develop in the weeks following treatment. Specific results depend on the individual, however, and the area being targeted.

For most patients, it takes only one appointment to get the results that they are looking for.  However, you are welcome to make a second appointment if you want to further enhance your results.

Results typically last from 1-2 years.  Juvederm dermal filler injection results can vary depending on which formula is used and which areas injected.  In addition, results vary based on how quickly your body absorbs the product. Tise absorption is considered a normal process.

Juvederm dermal filler is considered incredibly safe. The Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved it in 2006.  In addition, they have also stated that it has been shown to have no serious side effects.  Because Juvederm contains hyaluronic acid (HA) which is already found in the body, it doesn’t come with the risk of causing allergic reactions.  This makes it suitable for a wide range of individuals.

With Kybella, you can expect:

• Brief appointment sessions – typically 15-20 minutes.
• Little to no downtime.  Patients typically can resume normal activities and schedule right after treatment.  Strenuous activity and direct sun should be avoided for 48-72 hours.
• Elimination of fat under the chin and in the neck (jowl) area.
• Results are permanent – the fat does not regenerate.
• A more defined chin and jawline along with an improved facial profile.
• A more youthful look.

At your initial consultation with Dr. Zaknoun, a personalized Kybella treatment plan will be created to match your specific aesthetic goals. Patients typically receive between two and four Kybella injections to achieve the look that they desire.  Because Kybella works gradually to dissolve fat cells, 30 days between appointments is what is recommended. 

Kybella contains Deoxycholic acid which is designed to break down and dissolve fat cells under the chin and in the upper neck. Once the fat cells are broken down and dissolved, they do not come back. This treatment does not require any upkeep.  Once you reach your goal, treatments are complete.

Kybella is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for any other areas of the face or body.  It is only approved for under the chin and the upper neck.  However, Dr. Zaknoun and the Nadomi MedSpa offer other very effective treatments for fat and cellulite reduction.  For more information, check our Laser & Body Contouring page.

Dermal fillers are injections that can plump up hollow, sunken or sagging areas, smooth wrinkles and lines on your face and provide facial balance to attain your optimal facial shape and profile. There are different types of dermal fillers available for your specific areas of concern.  Dermal fillers are most commonly injected in the areas around your eyes, mouth and nose. In addition to smoothing wrinkles, fillers are an excellent tool to create slightly fuller lips, define a small chin or soften abnormalities of the nose.  This common cosmetic procedure typically produces results right away, and can last months or years, depending on the product and the area injected.

Dr. Zaknoun at Nadomi MedSpa in Wareham, MA, is an expert injector with considerable experience.  She will know the best type of injectable filler(s) for your desired outcome and goals.  Depending on whether you want to reduce/soften wrinkles, add volume to sunken or sagging areas or would like fuller, plumper lips, Dr. Zaknoun makes sure to understand your desired end result before determining which filler or filler combinations will give you optimal results. There are many different dermal fillers on the market.  Developing a specific, individualized treatment plan helps us ensure that your results are natural looking and beautiful. 

Injectable wrinkle relaxers (toxins) include Botox and Jeuvederm.  These products work by relaxing the muscles that create dynamic wrinkles such as Crow’s feet (near the eyes), forehead lines, and number 11’s between the eyebrows. Injectable wrinkle fillers include Juvéderm and Restylane.  They work by increasing volume beneath the skin surface to plump wrinkles and fine lines throughout the entire face. They can be used to fill in deep lines and scars and also to plump lips or hollowed/sagging areas.  After your consultation with Dr. Zaknoun, a specific individualized treatment plan will be created with your desired outcomes and goals in mind. Depending on those goals, Dr. Zaknoun may suggest wrinkle relaxer injections, dermal fillers, or a “liquid facelift,” which combines both.

How long your results last will depend on which filler was used and what area of the face was treated. Individual results vary.  Results typically last 6 months to a year. 

A PDO thread lift is a cosmetic procedure that uses dissolvable sutures to tighten and lift the skin, smoothing lines and wrinkles on the face. It is designed to look natural and is safe and affordable.  Many individuals would like to look younger and feel better about how we look, but we aren’t interested in the costs and risks associated with invasive surgical options.  A PDO thread lift is minimally invasive, cost effective and produces beautiful, natural-looking results!

With a PDO threadlift, you can expect

• A lifted, more youthful appearance.
• Little to no down time.
• Relatively short treatment time – typically about 45 minutes.

Of course, results vary based on a number of factors.  The main one being the initial condition of the skin on your face.  Typically, the PDO thread lift results last for a year and a half or more.  Once you see your results starting to diminish, you may wish to schedule a maintenance or follow-up procedure to help you preserve your enhanced, younger look.  Lifestyle is helpful in getting the most longevity of your PDO thread lift.  Enjoying a nutrient-rich diet, at-home skin care routine and regular physical activity will all contribute to longer lasting results.

Laser hair removal is extremely effective.  Most patients see results that last many years or are permanent.  In some cases, it can be semi-permanent because some hair growth can occur in areas that need a second treatment with the laser.  In the case that some hairs return, additional treatments can be scheduled to take care of them, along with any new growth that may have occurred.

Since hair grows in cycles, the laser treatment will take care of those hair follicles that are in the live growing phase, but may miss those that are dormant. Since each follicle grows in different stages, more than one treatment session is typically needed to target each hair and follicle while it is in the growing phase.

Laser vein removal works well for a variety of sizes and types of veins, including most varicose veins.   Some varicose veins that are large and bulging may require surgery.  After meeting with you for a consultation, we will be able to let you know your best option for varicose veins.

While laser vein removal is generally considered the standard for spider veins, there is a small number of individuals who have a type of spider vein which responds better to sclerotherapy.  During sclerotherapy, a small amount of solution is injected into the vein causing it to collapse and disintegrate.  Veins treated with laser vein removal have a smaller chance of returning than if sclerotherapy alone is performed. Your treatment plan may have a mix of both treatment types.  We work directly with you to help determine the best treatment option to meet your specific concerns and goals.

Each patient is unique.  Spider veins can be found in many areas of the body including the face, thighs, fronts and backs of the legs, and near the ankles. Laser vein removal is considered an appropriate treatment method for all of these places.  Laser vein removal employs best class lasers that enable precise targeting of each specific vein.  The skin around these targeted veins is not affected, even when it is particularly sensitive or delicate.

Dimpling and sagging caused by cellulite can cause you to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable with your appearance. If this prevents you from wearing the clothes you would like to wear, maybe it’s time to consider laser cellulite reduction.  Cellulite reduction is a safe, effective option to help improve your appearance and your self-confidence!

Cellulite is a term for the fat deposits that cause lumps, ripples and dimples under the skin.  It is a common condition that can be found on all body types – from thin to average to overweight. These fat deposits are typically found on the upper legs, buttocks, hip area and stomach. lumpy, Cellulite is found more often in women, but it also affects some men. While cellulite is more common in women, it can also be found in men.  They are not a concern medically, but most people find them embarrassing and unattractive.

After your consultation in our office, we will create a treatment plan specifically designed to treat your cellulite.  Your treatment plan will outline how long your treatment(s) should take.  And how many you will need.  Appointments typically take at least an hour and up to 2 hours, depending on the areas being treated.  

At Nadomi MedSpa, we want our patients to have the speediest recovery and best results possible. Patients should avoid any strenuous exercise or activity for 1-2 weeks to allow for optimal healing. We encourage patients to wear compression garments for a couple of weeks post treatment.  It helps with fat loss and quicker healing times.

Some medical conditions such a circulatory issues, diabetes and skin conditions may indicate a candidate that is not a good fit for laser cellulite treatment.  If you are pregnant, it is medically advised to wait until after your pregnancy to consider cellulite treatment.

truSculpt® is a versatile product that be used in a variety of areas.  This treatment be done on the inner and outer thighs, the arms, above and around the knees, the lower and upper abdomen, the hips and the love handle area.  It can also be used under the jawline to tighten and reduce fat, for a more contoured, defined jawline.

When can I expect to see results? Shortly after your first treatment, you should start to see some results.  Results will continue to progress and with truSculpt®, your optimal, final results can be seen in 12 weeks. 

Since existing fat cells in the treated area(s) are permanently eliminated with truSculpt treatments, you can expect your results to last permanently as long as your weight remains stable.

The treatment process is typically pretty quick.   Sessions can be completed in as little as 15-30 minutes depending on the size and number of areas treated.  

Visible results are usually able to be seen with one truSculpt session.  Some patients may require additional treatments depending on what their body measurements are at the start and where they would ideally like to be at the completion of their treatment(s).

Unlike other body contouring treatments, there are no needles and no incisions.  There is no down time and patients can resume activity immediately after treatment.
